የሕብረተሰብ ጤና ስጋት ተግባቦት ተግባራትን ውጤታማ ለማድረግ ስትራቴጅክ እቅድ ትልቅ ሚና እንዳለው ተገለጸ፡፡ Strategic Plan Plays to Realise the Roles of Public Health Risk Communication
የኢንስቲትዩቱ የሕብረተሰብ ጤና አደጋ ቁጥጥር ማዕከል የሕብረተሰብ ጤና ስጋት ተግባቦት እና የማሕበረሰብ ተሳትፎ ዲቪዥን ከኢትዮጵያ ቀይ መስቀል ማህበር እንዲሁም ከዓለም አቀፍ ቀይ መስቀልና ቀይ ጨረቃ ማህበራት ፌዴሬሽን ጋር በመተባበር የፌዴራል እና የክልል የስራ ኃላፊዎችና ባለሙያዎች እንዲሁም አጋር አካላት በተገኙበት የሕብረተሰብ ጤና ስጋት ተግባቦት እና የማሕበረሰብ ተሳትፎ የአምስት ዓመት ስትራቴጅክ እቅድ ሰነድ ከጥቅምት 17 እስከ 21/2018 ዓ.ም በሐዋሳ ከተማ የግምገማ አውደ ጥናት አካሄደ፡፡
የአውደ ጥናቱ ዋና ዓላማ የተዘጋጀውን የአምስት ዓመት ስልታዊ እቅድ ከዓለም አቀፍ ተለዋዋጭ ሁኔታዎች፤ ከሀገራዊ እና ክልላዊ ነባራዊ ኩነቶች እንዲሁም ከደንቦችና የስራ መመሪያዎች ጋር ተናቦ ሊያሰራ የሚችል መሆኑን መገምገም እና ቀሪ ስራዎችን ማጠናቀቅ ነው።
አቶ መስፍን ወሰን የኢንስቲትዩቱ የሕብረተሰብ ጤና አደጋ ቅኝት እና ቅድመ ማስጠንቀቂያ ዳይሬክቶሬት ዳይሬክተር በአውደ ጥናቱ የማጠቃለያ ፕሮግራም ላይ ተገኝተው እንደገለጹት የሕብረተሰብ ጤና ስጋት ተግባቦት እና የማሕበረሰብ ተሳትፎ ተግባራትን ውጤታማ ለማድረግ በሁሉም መዋቅር የተሻለ ስርዓትን በመዘርጋት ወቅቱ የሚጠይቀውን ስራ መተግበር እንደሚገባ፣ለዚህም የተዘጋጀው ስልታዊ እቅድ በዘርፉ ለሚከናወኑ ተግባራት አቅጣጫ ጠቋሚ መሆኑንና በቀጣይም የእቅዱ ቀሪ ስራዎች ተጠናቀው ወደትግበራ የሚገባ መሆኑን በንግግራቸው ገልጸዋል፡፡
ስትራቴጅክ እቅዱ በአውደ ጥናቱ ላይ በጽሁፍ ቀርቦ ሰፊ ውይይትና ግምገማ የተደረገ ሲሆን በዓለም አቀፍ እና በአገር አቀፍ ደረጃ ከሚታዩ የተለያዩ የሕብረተሰብ ጤና አደጋ ስጋቶች አንጻር እንዲሁም ከመልክዓ-ምድር እና ከሕብረተሰቡ የአኗኗር ዘይቤ አኳያ ተግባራዊ ለማድረግ ይቻል ዘንድ መረጃ ላይ መሰረት ያደረጉ በርካታ የማጠናከሪያና የማስተካከያ ሐሳቦች በባለሙያዎች እና በስራ ኃላፊዎች በዝርዝር ቀርበው የጋራ መግባባት ላይ ተደርሷል፤ ስልታዊ ዕቅዱንም የማጠናቀቅ ስራ ተከናውኗል፡፡
Strategic Plan Plays to Realise the Roles of Public Health Risk Communication

The Ethiopian Public Health Institute’s (EPHI) Public Health Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) Division in Collaboration with the Ethiopian Red Cross and, International Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies evaluated the five years strategic plan of RCCE. The evaluation workshop was held in Hawassa from October 27 to 31, 2025 in the presence of heads of federal and regional offices and other stakeholders.
The workshop aimed to evaluate and allign the five year’s strategic plan with the world’s ever changing situations, existing national and regional situations, rules and regulations, and finally to finalize the plan.
Mr. Mesfin Wossen, EPHI’s Surveillance and Early Warning Directorate Director, on his closing remark emphasized the importance of the strategic plan for the proper implementation of the roles of RCCE and execution of the plan will be storted as soon as it is finalized.
The strategic plan was presented at the workshop and entertained constructive comments and suggestions which were all compiled accordingly. And after a consensus was reached, the plan has been finalised.
