Course Description:
This basic surveillance training is prepared for four days to surveillance focal points and regional PHEM officers who are working on SARI/ILI surveillance and response. It will enable them to collect respiratory samples and epidemiological data, surveillance data management and surveillance data analysis and interpretation.
Course Goal:
To provide participants with necessary knowledge, skill and attitude needed to undertake SARI/ILI Surveillance.

Certification criteria: participants who have attended 95% the basic SARI/ILI surveillance training
and scored the posttest evaluation above 70% will be certified.
Course Venue: Training centers which can accommodate participants and trainers with adequate physical distance and ventilation

Course Composition: 32 participants per venue, 6 trainers
