Course Description: This is a 3 days basic COVID-19 surveillance training for surveillance officers and health professionals on COVID-19 surveillance. It enables them to screen passengers, investigate COVID-19 suspected cases, identify, list and follow contacts.
Course Goal: To provide participants with necessary knowledge, skill and attitude needed to undertake COVID-19 surveillance

Certification Criteria: Participants will be certified when they score more than 70% in the summative assessment
Trainer’s Selection Criteria
Course Venue: Accommodative Hall (Well ventilated, well illuminated) separate rooms for group work, audio-visual training and support training centers.
Suggested class size: Accommodates 20-25 participants and 5 trainers.
Course Duration: Three days
