It is an implementational study to generate Evidence and to Scaling Simplified Approaches in the Management of Wasting through Operational Research in Ethiopia.

Objectives

Assess the safety, effectiveness, and cost-effectiveness of alternative modified dosage protocols for treatment of SAM and MAM, as related to nutritional recovery.

Assess the safety, effectiveness, and cost-effectiveness of alternative modified dosage protocols for treatment of SAM and MAM, as related to post-discharge outcomes and relapse.
