Development of Nutrition Profiling Model for Ethiopia


A nutrient profiling model is developed using secondary data, including a market survey assessment of packaged foods in Addis Ababa and data from the Ethiopian Food and Drug Administration food registration repository by identifying the level of nutrient of concern in packaged food products.

Project period:  Sept,2023-feb, 2024


To develop a Nutrient Profile Model that is specific to Ethiopia by adapting and modifying existing models used in other countries.
