National Information Platform for Nutrition (NIPN)

Description

NIPN project functions since 2018, (now in NIPN phase 2.0) with the aim of supporting evidence-based decision-making in nutrition. The project has been implemented in collaboration with the, and IFPRI.

Objectives

The project aims to support Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) countries that have a high malnutrition burden.

The project consists of three operational elements: policy question formulation, the identification and analysis of data, and the communication and outreach of research findings

Funding Agency

European Union (EU), the United Kingdom Department for International Development and the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation (NIPN 1.0), -EU and GIZ (NIPN 2.0)
