The Ethiopian Adolescent Nutrition and Food Environment study

Description

This study is conducted by a consortium of institutions as part of the CGIAR Sustainable Healthy Diets through Food Systems Transformation (SHiFT) research initiative. The study aims to understand the drivers of food choices and dietary intakes among adolescent boys and girls by exploring factors at the individual, household, and food environment levels. EPHI is involved in the assessment of dietary intakes and anthropometric status.

 

Duration: August 2023-2024

Objectives

To assess the nutritional status and dietary habits of adolescents (12-18 years) and their mothers

To understand the influence of individual, household, community, and food environment factors on nutrition outcomes
