Delegates from Sudan Visited EPHI

A team composed of 11 people from Sudan National Public Health Laboratory visited the Ethiopian Public Health Institute (EPHI) from December 19-21/2017. The main objective of the visit was to visit EPHI’s laboratories and share EPHI’s experience.
The team which was led by Sudan National Public Health Laboratory’s Deputy Director General Abdelmoniem Abdalla Mohamed had discussions with EPHI’s Director General and Deputy Director General. The two teams have discussed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding in the near future for formal collaboration between the two institutions.
During the two days visit the team has also met with National Virology Research Team and Bacterial, Parasitological and Zoonosis Research Directorate.
