Preparedness for EVD Protection Kicked Off

The Ethiopian Public Health Institute’s (EPHI) Public Health Emergency Management (PHEM) is taking the necessary preparedness measures to protect the Ebola Viral Disease (EVD) from occurring in the country.
On May 12, 2018 PHEM conducted EVD orientation following the declaration of EVD outbreak in Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) by the country’s Ministry of Health on May 8, 2018 for the PHEM staffs and field epidemiology residents from Addis Ababa University (AAU) and St. Paul Hospital Millennium Medical College (SPHMMC) at EPHI’s Training Center.
