Coverage Survey on Meningitis – A, Training Underway

Training for field staff on Meningitis – A (Men – A) Coverage Survey is underway in EPHI starting from November 17 and continues until November 19, 2015. An opening speech was delivered by Mr. Abebe Bekele, Health System Research Directorate Director who mentioned the importance of such trainings to determine the coverage of post meningitis immunization for the next phase.
The training aims to determine the estimated coverage of post meningitis immunization for phase III low risk zones in six regions and one city administration of western Ethiopia.
More than 40 data collectors, supervisors, technical assistants and survey coordinators are attending the training.
