Delegates from EPHI, IFPRI, GIZ in attendance at Micronutrient Forum 6th Global Conference in Hague, the Netherlands
Micronutrient Forum 6th Global Conference opened today in Hague, the Netherlands. The Forum which is said to cover cutting-edge nutrition research, from basic micronutrient biology to program implementation and evidence-based solutions for climate-smart agriculture is being attended by many countries including Ethiopia. Representatives drawn from Food Science Nutrition and Research Directorate (FSNRD) and National Information Platform for Nutrition (NIPN) of Ethiopian Public Health Institute (EPHI), International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), GIZ including others from the Federal Ministry of Health are in attendance at the Global Conference.
A press Release issued on October 17, 2023 indicates that the Micronutrient Forum 6th Global Conference, which stays until October 20, 2023 would bring together an estimated 3,000 experts, leaders and advocates from diverse fields to have the vital discussions needed to align priorities and action plans, as well as prioritize investments in nutrition.
The Micronutrient Forum is the central global platform for evidence, collaboration, and advocacy to improve micronutrient health.
