EPHI, Regional & City Administration Health Bureaus Drafted Joint Plan
The Ethiopian Public Health Institute (EPHI) along with regional and city administration health bureaus have evaluated the last year’s joint plan and came up with joint plan for the 2012 EC fiscal year. A discussion was held on the draft joint plan focusing on Laboratory Capacity Building, Public Health Emergency Management and Research and Technology Transfer.
Based on the draft joint plan, a group discussion was held presentation by each group to enrich the joint plan and to strengthen the way forward.
Issues such as man power turn over, postal service, maintenance, quality, supply, and communication gap between the sectors, capacity building, structure variety and facility construction were raised and well discussed over pointing solutions and a well coordinated joint action.
Finally the draft joint plan was presented and a consensus has been reached that if all work based on the joint plan this year’s performance will be improved.
