US Congress Delegates Visited EPHI

US Congress delegates visited the Ethiopian Public Health Institute (EPHI). The delegates visited the Clinical Bacteriology, Polio, Public Health Emergency Management Center and Laboratory Maintenance Workshop.
After the visit they had a discussion with Dr. Ebba Abate Director General of EPHI.
“The support from the US government to the nation and also to EPHI has brought many successful developments. The joint activities should continue until we can manage them independently,” said Dr. Ebba.
The delegates have appreciated what is being done in EPHI and especially they commented positively for Ethiopia’s participation in Ebola Virus Disease simulation exercise
