PHEM Officers Certified in Amhara Region
The Ethiopian Public Health Institute’s (EPHI) Public Health Emergency Management (PHEM) certified more than 50 PHEM officers who completed the Frontline Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) in Bahir Dar city on June 8, 2018. The PHEM officers are drawn from Amhara Region and Gambella.
The Officers have taken two rounds of trainings before the certification. Finally on the third they presented researches conducted in their respective woredas.
Dr. Beyene Moges Deputy Director General of EPHI during the certificate award ceremony said that the Officers have completed their training appropriately and what is expected from them is to practice what they have learnt to serve the society accordingly and contribute their part for the improvement of the country’s health programs.
