The Institute’s Produces skilled Human Resource
As part of its human resource development activity, the Ethiopian Health and Nutrition Institute graduates 15 Researchers in the second degree level education from Addis Ababa, Hawassa, Jimma and Mekelle universities.
All the researchers who graduate in the last six months in different field of studies are sponsored by the institute, depending on the Human Resource Development strategic plan of the Institute.
According to Ato Tadesse Nigatu, Director of Human Resource Development and General Service Directorate of the Institute, the graduation of these researchers exceeds the MSC/MPH and above level human resource of the institute to 42 percent from the previous 34percent.
Recently 46 researchers are attending their education in different field of studies that are relevant to the Institute’s duties. Among the class attending researchers, eight are studding for their PhD and 38 for MSC/MPH degree in local and abroad Universities.
